Not much is known about Cypress at all at first. None of the other knights seem to take to him very well, and he can very easily make people uncomfortable in his presence. SPOILER warning. Do NOT read any farther if you don't want to know. Cypress is actually the king of the Second Kingdom, enlisted by Magnolia to protect her daughter. The Kingdom of Earth has always been neutral in debates between the First and Third kingdom, but finally the king had seen fit to take a side.
