About Yakumi

Well, here we have Yakumi. Of course, that's not her real name. Yakumi comes into the story right after Sasaki and her friends discover that they truly possess some kind of power. What convenient timing. So, does she have any relationship with Takmet? By how she acts you would think at least she thinks she does. But of course that's all just an act. Yakumi loves manipulating people. It's one of her relaxing techniques. The more screwed up she gets other people, the better she feels.
Yakumi is actualy over several millenia old, as Rei points out. Of course she doesn't tell anyone how she knows this, or some other vital information about Yakumi. And her partner, as well as her only love, is Sekat. That's not his real name either, by the way. Names define a person, and that's why Takmet is reluctant to give out his real name in the beginning. So, pretty much everyone with any sense (in this case, anyone with magic) has some sort of alias, and only their parents know their real names. Well, Yakumi and Sekat don't have parents, so each of them revealed their name to the other. Unfortunately, I don't have that information, since it never comes up in the story. Actually, they haven't known each other very long, I mean realtively. Maybe a few hundred years...
Yakumi is some kind of demoness. In my opinion demonesses can never be stronger than goddesses, but they can come pretty damn close. In this case though, Yakumi is stronger than one god or goddess, but not two ::wink wink::. Yakumi is very strong: stronger than Sekat. We see how easily he was beaten by Takmet. She realizes, though, that she can't do this alone (this being take over Egypt). Yakumi recruits Eric: Takmet's double in the future who still retains some of the powers he had in his past life. Poor guy gets seduced by her before he had a chance. This 'seducing' also may have a part in the sequel. Yakumi's efforts are in vain, and good triumphs over evil, as it must be, but not without a few casualties.
