About Takmet

Takmet is the man who saves Sasaki from a very unpleasant fate after she and the girls arrive in Ancient Egypt. He is a pretty low-key guy, but gets serious when something he considers important is on the line (like Sasaki). He instantly feels drawn to this seemingly foreign girl and develops a liking for her very quickly. In Takmet's eyes, Sasaki was beautiful, interesting, and unique. Her personality was unlike any girl's he had seen, with the close exception of Kehsat's.
Ah, yes. His first love. Kehsat was part of a wandering band of gypsies, so she was hardly exposed to the somber demeanor of the ladies of Egypt, and that's what Takmet liked about her. The reason she does not have a section here is, well, because she's unfortunately dead. Takmet would be quite the ladies' man if he ever loosened up in large crowds, but they make him nervous.
Takmet also has a sister who is a genie. Her name is Rei. You can see more info. about her by clicking on her name on the side bar. The circumstances that produced Takmet were unusual to say the least. His father found a bottle that contained a genie (his mother). While stopping at a small oasis to wash his face, the bottle fell in and the genie released. Since the water was enchanted, the two beings fell in love with each other for a short time and did something unmentionable. So, Takmet is technically half genie.
Takmet falls in love with Sasaki. His body is much like Sasaki's in that his is a vessel for Osiris, who just happens to be Isis' husband (the deity that inhabits Sasaki's body). Takmet can call on Osiris' power just as Sasaki can call on Isis'. Later on he and Sasaki have children ::grin::. This feeds into the sequel as well.
