About Seti

Seti is Sasaki's brother. He is currently the pharaoh of Egypt when my story takes place. He is good at politics and courtly matters and he knows the laws of Egypt by heart; but he has no sense of much else. Seti is inherently a very trusting person, mostly because of his position as pharaoh. When I use the word 'trusting' I mean he trusts those around him in the palace:those that have worked for him and his father before him for quite some time. Since Sekat falls into this category, Seti sees no real reason to suspect him of anything.
Seti had always had a great relationship with his sister, even though he only knew her for the two years of her life she was still in the palace. Ever since her disappearance Seti has found it hard to relate personally with women, the only one that was important to him being taken away. This explains partly why Seti holds women in certain roles the way that he does. If Sasaki, or more accurately Kheris, had been there while Seti was growing up he might have become a more sensual and understanding man.
