About Sasaki

Sasaki is one of the main characters in the story. She has just finished her junior year in high school and decides to go on a feild trip to Egypt with her history teacher. Sasaki is very interested in Ancient Egypt and knows she will find something in the pyramids when she drags her friends Mandi, Chloe, and Ami to go exploring with her.
The truth about Sasaki is that she really isn't from the present. She was born in Ancient Egypt as a princess, sister to Seti, the current pharaoh in the story. Her mother and father agreed to let Marton, the mage, take her somewhere safe where whatever evil that existed at the time could not hurt her. Sasaki was made to believe that she had a twin sister. The girl she knew as her sister, however, was actually her future self. You would probably think this would create a time paradox, but technically they are not the same person, so evrything works out. Her 'sister' and 'mother' are killed in a car accident that Sasaki later realizes was planned by Sekat. He had come to the future to try and get rid of her. Obviously he failed. Sasaki falls in love with Takmet, the man who cares for her and her friends in Ancient Egypt. And I know he returns the sentiment.
Sasaki's body is the vessel for the Egyptian goddess Isis, and therefore she has access to Isis' powers.
