About Hotep

Hotep has been Takmet's friend since he came to the palace almost a decade ago. Hotep is more the fun type, but he doesn't really ever get a chance to have too much fun. Being a palace guard is a pretty dull job most of the time. He's not exatly wild, but knows when to let loose. Hotep also likes to tease Takmet. In a way they're kind of like brothers, one that Hotep never had.
Hotep's family lives in the city. He has a younger sister and is very protective of her. His mother died when he was ten. His father takes care of everything while Hotep works and lives in the palace. He has no other family but considers Takmet a sort of brother, and a younger one at that. He gets to play protective yet playful big brother to two people.
Hotep later actually gets together with Chloe. I haven't figured this out yet, but Hotep also has a future self. The only difference is that he remembers exactly what happened in his past life, unlike thousands of people in the world who have been reincarnated (including Eric and the girls). So he has an automatic affinity for Chloe after she returns from the past and he knows exactly where the girls had gone and why. Their encounter is kind of interesting actually...
